Niche specializes in special occasion cakes and bakes

together with finger/fork/plated catering.

About the owner

Created in 1980 and currently residing in Durbanville, I

have had quite and interesting life journey.

Growing up literally under the kitchen table, I have an

absolute passion for food. Both baking and cooking.

In my journey with food, I have discovered that there

is nothing more satisfying than seeing the faces of the

people on the receiving end of my creations.

Be it on a normal weekday evening for my family or treating

friends and family to something special.

My husband tends to be guinee pig to a lot of my creations

and experiments, but he hasn`t complained too much thus far ;)

Be it on a budget or extravagant, quality, tasty and pretty

dishes will always be in the order of the day.

Baking

All our bakes are custom made to the clients` specifications and needs.

We pride ourselves in creating beautiful bakes

and most important of all, a taste experience to remember.

We come to your house or venue and cater

your occasion. Totally behind the scenes and

when we leave, no mess for you to deal with!

We come with all our own equipment and ingredients.

Menus are designed according to

what the client requires. Be it a theme

or specific cuisine or 9-course meal - it`s up to you.

*Plated dinner parties can also be arranged.
